Josephine Mitchell completed her B.F.A. in Creative Writing from the University of British Columbia along with a minor in Spanish in 2011. Since that time she has worked as a bike courier in Vancouver, B.C., and as an ESL Preschool Teacher in Dalian, China. She’s had the privilege to live and/or travel through Central America, Asia and Eastern Africa.

Josephine writes for the stage, has managed to eek out a few non-fiction essays and is working on a collection of short stories entitled, Warn the Children of the Risk of Electric Shock. She will attend the MFA Creative Writing program at The University of Houston this coming fall.
